5 Reasons You Don’t Want to Miss ARTrageous
Get ready, Mohawk Valley — the stage is about to burst into color! On October 21st, the Rome Capitol Theatre will transform into a whirlwind of paint, music, and imagination as ARTrageous takes the stage.
Part performance, part party, and completely unforgettable, ARTrageous isn’t your typical show. It’s an interactive art and music experience where creativity knows no bounds — and where you become part of the magic.
Here are five reasons why ARTrageous is a must-see event for audiences of all ages.
1. Art Comes Alive — Literally
Forget watching from the sidelines. In ARTrageous, you’ll witness artists create giant masterpieces right before your eyes — in just minutes — all while being swept up in live music, dance, and storytelling.
Each stroke of the brush, every beat of the drum, and every movement on stage comes together to form something extraordinary.
2. It’s a Celebration of Music, Movement, and Imagination
From rock and pop to Broadway classics and heartfelt ballads, ARTrageous uses music to bring emotion and energy to every canvas. Combined with dazzling lights, high-energy choreography, and electrifying performances, it’s a full-body experience that will leave you tapping your feet and smiling long after the curtain closes.
3. You’re Part of the Show
Audience participation is at the heart of ARTrageous. You might find yourself singing along, helping inspire a painting, or even being part of a surprise moment on stage! It’s a chance to let loose, laugh, and rediscover your inner artist.
4. Every Performance is One-of-a-Kind
No two ARTrageous shows are ever the same. The paintings are created live, the energy shifts with the audience, and the results are completely unique to that night. That means what happens at the Rome Capitol Theatre stays at the Rome Capitol Theatre — and you’ll be part of a moment that can never be replicated.
5. It’s a Show That Inspires the Artist in All of Us
Whether you paint, dance, sing, or simply appreciate creativity, ARTrageous reminds us that art connects us all. It celebrates imagination, community, and the simple joy of creating something beautiful together — values that lie at the heart of Broadway Utica’s mission.
So grab your friends, family, or your favorite art lover and join us for a night that’s as colorful as it is unforgettable.
Because when art, music, and imagination collide… it’s nothing short of ARTrageous.
