Broadway Theatre League of Utica Seeks New Board Members

Since 1957, the Broadway Theatre League of Utica has been a cornerstone of cultural enrichment in Central New York, presenting and promoting high-quality touring Broadway shows at The Stanley Theatre. As Broadway Utica expands its programming and footprint across the region, it is seeking passionate individuals to join its esteemed Board of Directors.

Broadway Utica is seeking individuals who possess the following qualities: Availability to dedicate 4-6 hours per month to board responsibilities and activities, current or prospective subscribers to Broadway Utica for the 2024-2025 Adirondack Bank Broadway Utica Season, a deep passion for the arts and live theater, residence in Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, or Onondaga County, New York, and age 18 and above.

Broadway Utica’s Board President Anne Milograno remarks, “Joining our board isn’t just about filling a seat; it’s about becoming a vital part of our theater family. Together, we’re not just shaping the future of education and Broadway in Utica; we’re creating unforgettable experiences for our community. Join us, and let’s write the next act of our story together.”

Board members will be tasked with participation in monthly board meetings, contribution to strategic planning and decision-making processes, advocacy and support for Broadway Utica’s programs and events, assistance with fundraising and community engagement initiatives, and oversight of Broadway Utica’s budget and financial management.

Joining the Broadway Utica Board of Directors offers numerous benefits, including playing a vital role in the cultural development of Central New York, networking opportunities with like-minded arts and theater enthusiasts, experience in nonprofit governance and leadership, and impactful involvement in exposing local youth to the arts from a young age.
