Broadway Theatre League of Utica To Host Open House June 27th & 28th
As it ramps up to bring the best of Broadway to the Mohawk Valley, the Broadway Theatre League of Utica will host an Open House on Monday June 27th and Tuesday June 28th at The Stanley Theatre for prospective new subscribers.
The Open House will raise the curtain on the 2022-2023 season lineup and provide subscription and seating options. The event will run from 11 am to 5 pm and will include 30- minute personal consultations, payment plan options, and a firsthand look inside The Stanley so guests can obtain a personal view of the stage before selecting their seats.
Broadway Utica’s 2022-2023 season features award-winning shows that represent 35 Tony Award nominations, two Grammy Award nominations, and one Outer Critics Circle Award winner for Outstanding Revival of a Musical. The five-show series includes The Book of Mormon, Tootsie, My Fair Lady, 1776, and Jesus Christ SuperStar. Subscribers will have the option to add Annie and make it a six-show series.
This 2022-2023 season will be filled with the biggest award-winning performances including 9 time Tony Award® winning musical THE BOOK OF MORMON. The Book of Mormon will be teching in Utica for 10 days, where they will rehearse, build their tour set, perfecting their lighting, sound and wardrobe, along with enjoying all the amenities that Utica has to offer.
