What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Contract terms with producers and production companies prohibits Broadway Utica from issuing refunds. Therefore ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Ticket exchanges/Gift card options may be offered on a show by show basis (subject to availability) for a $5 per ticket Exchange Fee.
Why are there fees?
Broadway Utica has ticketing fees that consist of online fee, processing fee, shipping/mail fee, and restoration fee. Our online fee only pertains to tickets purchased from BroadwayUtica.org and each ticket purchased has this fee associated to it. The processing fee is associated to each ticket purchased and does not matter the method it was purchased (phone, internet and in-person). There is a mail fee associated to tickets purchased during that transaction. If you purchase a ticket within 7 days of the performance date online your ticket will be in will call and the fee will still be applied. There is no fee for Will Call or local pick up at the office. The restoration fee goes directly to the historic Stanley Theatre for general maintenance and improvements.

Can I smoke or vape in the theatre?
There is absolutely no smoking or vaping in the theatre. There are also no breaks within the performance time to leave the theatre to do such activities.
Can I arrive late to the show?
Unfortunately, if you arrive to the theatre late you will have to wait until management and ushers are able to seat you. Several shows have a late seating policy and can be up to 15 minutes into the performance. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior.
Can I bring in food/water?
Do I have to buy a ticket for a two-year-old?
A general rule of thumb is everyone needs a seat. Most performances are family friendly but please research the show prior to attending. We recommend that 5+ is the best age to bring children into the theatre but ultimately your decision. All children will need a ticket when attending a performance. We offer student discounts in person only. If your child is under 20lbs and able to sit on your lap or be worn, a ticket is not necessary.
What do I wear?
Wear what makes you most comfortable! The theatre is a night out and most tend to use it as an excuse to get all dolled up. Suits, tuxes and ballgowns are not necessary nor encouraged but something more business like is preferred. Jeans are welcomed too!
Why aren’t the shows on Tuesday and Wednesday anymore?
Due to the expansion of touring Broadway and to accommodate each city, we no longer can have a choice in which days we would like the performance on. Labor laws and rest times are strictly enforced by the show and unions and we abide by those rules as well. We do our best to make them mid-week performances, but ultimately it comes down to routing.
Do I have to buy a subscription for all shows or pick and choose what I want?
In order to be a Broadway Utica subscriber and receive all the perks and discounts, you must purchase the series upfront before the start of the first performance. You will have the same seat each performance, which makes things much more easier for you. If you’re not a subscriber, you can always buy tickets as you wish for certain theatricals. The cost is traditionally higher for this option.
Do you offer refunds?
Cash refunds are never an option for any reason including weather, medical, etc. As a subscriber, you have an opportunity to exchange into a different show night. All ticket holders can sell their tickets for face value or less. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but it is ultimately the show’s decision.
Where are the bathrooms located at the Stanley Theatre?
Do you have an elevator at the Stanley Theatre?
There is an elevator located in the “South Wing” of the theatre and can be used anytime 30 minutes prior to the performance until the end of the performance.
