Stage Ready’s 2025 production of Fame Jr. was spectacular!  Over the course of two intensive weeks during summer break, students ages 12–18 worked collaboratively to build the entire show from the ground up — from acting, singing, and choreography to designing sets, creating costumes, and assembling the playbill.

Program Director Danielle Padula shared that Stage Ready had been more than a camp; it had served as a place where young artists discovered their voice, confidence, and community. Bringing Fame Jr. to the stage gave students a meaningful opportunity to shine both on and off the stage.

The production was led by Dennis J. Clark as director, with support from Kristen Matteson, Carter Klumbach, and choreographer Cierra Duval, whose guidance helped students bring the vibrant story to life. Based on the beloved musical about a diverse group of driven young artists balancing schoolwork and ambition, Fame Jr. allowed students to immerse themselves fully in the world of theatre.

The show was truly a culmination of the students’ hard work, creativity, and passion, and showcased the talent and dedication of all students in the Stage Ready Summer Camp program.
