Dear Valued Patron,
The impact of arts education is profound and transformative. It fuels creativity, opens minds, and shapes the leaders of tomorrow. For over 65 years, the Broadway Theatre League of Utica has passionately worked to inspire young hearts and ensure that the magic of live theater enriches our community.
This year, we are thrilled to present a unique opportunity for you to make a lasting difference. We aim to send 1,000 high school students from grades 9-12 to see the celebrated musical Dear Evan Hansen on April 8-9, 2025. This initiative is designed to expose local youth to the compelling themes of connection, mental health, and resilience that resonate within the story, fostering important conversations among our young people.
We are seeking to raise $10,000 to bring this vision to life. These funds will directly cover the costs of tickets and transportation for students to attend this profound performance. Your support will provide access to the arts, inspire and empower the next generation, and foster a community where creativity thrives for everyone.
We appreciate your consideration of this charitable, tax-deductible gift. Together, we can unlock the potential of live theater for our local students, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
To make your donation, please send a check to the Community Foundation at 2608 Genesee Street, Utica, NY 13502, noting "Broadway Utica / Dear Evan Hansen" in the memo line. For cash contributions, contact the Community Foundation at 315-735-8212 to arrange a secure method.
